What we do
Three things, deliberately:
- We publish expert guides. Honest buying guides, comparison articles, installation advice, and health content — written for UK buyers, with UK regulations, UK climate, and UK electricity prices baked in. See our guides for the latest.
- We run a UK builder directory. The Find a Builder directory connects buyers with vetted UK sauna installers, from one-person specialists to national manufacturers. Listing is free; builders can pay to upgrade their tier for higher visibility — but every published builder has been reviewed against our basic standards.
- We surface products worth buying. Our reviews and buying guides point to UK-available saunas, heaters and accessories — with affiliate disclosure on every link, and no sponsored placements.
Why we don’t sell saunas
The UK sauna market is dominated by retailers and importers who write their own buyer’s guides — guides that conveniently recommend the products they’re trying to shift. We started SaunaCentral because UK buyers deserved a source they could trust. The simplest way to be trustworthy is to have nothing to sell directly. We make money from affiliate commissions and from builder directory tier upgrades — both disclosed openly, both kept structurally separate from editorial.
Who this site is for
UK homeowners, typically 35–60, considering a sauna purchase for their home or garden. You’re budget-conscious but willing to invest in quality — and you’d rather make an informed call than a quick one. Whether you’ve already decided you want a barrel sauna out the back or you’re still wondering whether infrared is worth the price tag, the guides here are written for you.
